The Work ... Nakeds

I do two kinds of sculpture; naked women and portraits. I say Naked not Nude because they are women who have removed their clothes — not Models posing for nineteenth century Art. The women who pose for me Naked are revealing their Beauty — some striping for the first time not in their own privacy. This special condition charges the atmosphere — helps them to exhibit their true Beauty: that which is obvious in their figure, and that which comes from within; sometimes innocent Beauty, sometimes tortured Beauty, but always real and always Beautiful. Such Beauty is inspiring.
